How We Made Medical Cover Simple (and Worth It!)
We Set Up
a Trust
It might sound a bit formal, but here’s the simple version: A Trust is a secure setup that manages the benefits for its members—that’s you. When you join, you pay €4,300 a year (or $4,400 USD), and just like that, you’re in. You become a “discretionary beneficiary,” which means you get all the membership perks and protections.

This means your membership is backed by some of the most trusted names in insurance. By cutting out agents and middlemen, we deliver better prices and exceptional value straight to you, ensuring your protection is reliable and hassle-free.

We created the first Trust-based membership specifically for expats —
a fresh, practical alternative to traditional retail medical insurance.
Why did we feel this was necessary? Because expats and their families working and living overseas deserve essential benefits that truly meet their needs — and at a price that won’t break the bank.
1.) Have you ever bought private medical insurance and found it confusing or complicated?
With the Expat Health Club, there’s just one simple price: €4,300 per year. No hidden fees, no surprises. We’ve made the whole process easy and transparent.
2.) We focus on what expats actually need.
If you face an accident, injury, or serious illness, your Expat Health Club membership has you covered, giving you the protection that matters most.
3) Affordable Pricing that Beats Soaring Premiums
While insurance premiums are soaring, we’ve kept the fee for our Expat Health Membership steady and affordable.
4) Portability You Can Rely On
Whether you return to your home country or switch jobs—which often means losing coverage or facing expensive new plans—you can keep your Expat Health Membership and stay protected. Unlike local insurance policies, such as those in the Philippines, that stop covering you once you leave the country, our membership stays with you wherever life takes you. (Please note, coverage is not available in the USA.)

Hello and welcome! Most of our members come through word of mouth, and a common thread is frustration over rising insurance premiums. I was with a well-known provider – but after facing 25% yearly increases, I quickly realized that wasn’t sustainable, especially since I was still in my fifties. Then I met Rory, who showed me a smarter way to get solid medical cover without breaking the bank. I love that I still get peace of mind knowing I’m protected for the “big picture” stuff—accidents, injuries, and serious illness. You can connect with me directly on LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/in/rsoden/

An expat (short for “expatriate”) is simply someone who lives outside their native country (the country they were born in). They may be temporarily or permanently living there for a variety of reasons including work or retirement.
Our members are all nationalities living and working around the world.
Anyone who is health conscious – then now is the best time to join! If you exercise, go to the gym, eat fruit and vegetables, (you get the picture!) don’t wait until you have an accident, illness or an injury – these are the “big ticket” stuff that you need to be covered for. And you can become a member worldwide (except USA).
In most cases, we can only provide insurance to expats. By expat, we mean people living and working outside of their country of nationality (e.g., a Dutch national living in Taiwan or a Canadian national living in India).
We can provide plans to people of all nationalities in most countries around the world. You must be living or working in a country different from your country of nationality.
Typically, our members reside permanently in a foreign country. But we can sometimes provide cover to people expecting to spend at least 6 months of the year living or traveling abroad. In certain countries, we can cover people living in the same country that issues their passport. These countries are Botswana, Kenya, Nigeria, Mauritius, Estonia, and Malawi.

You do not have a policy with an insurance company. You are a member of the Expat Health Club which purchases medical cover on your behalf from a registered insurer. The Expat Health Club is the policy holder, you are the beneficiary.
Our insurer is regulated by the FSA Number ### in the UK.
The average claim value for medical evacuation is US$13,470. The costs of getting ill abroad without health insurance can be huge – and whilst you may be covered under a local country free health care (such as Hong Kong or the UK if you are eligible citizen), a private room in a hospital does make coping with accident or illness more stress free. Also – check your local insurance cover – does it cover the cost of a major operation i.e. heart (which could be upwards of US$75,000) for an operation.
No – there zero deductibles for our members.
All legitimate claims will be covered by the insurer subject to the terms and conditions of the benefits that are made available to the member). Our insurer is regulated by the FSA Number ### in the UK.
But…always tell the truth…any false claims will invalidate your claim!
